Dual Credit/Concurrent Enrollment

Dual Credit

Dual Credit Programs are instructional partnerships between a public school district and the Dallas County Community College District. Course credit is provided to high school students for both high school and college credit. Some dual credit courses may be offered on the W. T. White campus. For other courses, the student will take regular college courses on the college campus. Students may enroll for a maximum of 2 courses per semester for Dual Credit. Talk to your counselor for more information about available courses and eligibility or visit Brookhaven College at www.brookhavencollege.edu or contact the Brookhaven College Advising office at bhcAdvising@dcccd.edu or 972-860-4380.

Concurrent Enrollment

Students still in high school may be admitted to take college courses (no high school credit will be received for concurrent enrollment courses) for up to 2 courses per semester if they meet certain qualifications. For more information, visit Brookhaven College at www.brookhavencollege.edu or contact the Brookhaven College Advising office at bhcAdvising@dcccd.edu or 972-860-4380.
